Privacy statement
Effectif is a company in Québec, Canada. It provides its service to businesses under an agreement with each of them, and this statement says how it handles personal information. The agreement says the rest.
Who is in charge
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Effectif is the company's president, reached at contact@effectif.ai.
What Effectif collects and why
Effectif collects personal information only in the course of the service it provides to its clients: the name, work email address and role of the people a client authorizes to use it, and the business contact details that appear in the emails and documents the client connects it to. Effectif uses them to provide the service, to keep its record of the work and to measure and train its models, and for nothing else. It sells nothing it holds.
Where it is kept
Records are kept in Canada. Some processing takes place in the United States, so personal information may be communicated outside Québec.
How long
Effectif keeps a client's information while the company is a client, and destroys it within 30 days of the client's request once the service has ended; backups expire within seven days after that.
Who has access
Access is limited to the people and systems that need it to provide the service, and every access is recorded.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers. The Effectif application sets only the cookies that sign a person in and keep them signed in.
Your rights
A person can ask what personal information Effectif holds about them, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw their consent, by writing to contact@effectif.ai; Effectif answers within 30 days. A complaint about the handling of personal information goes to the same address, and can be brought to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
